I believe more photographers should be running their own photo newsletters. I’ve talked about why, and recommended email services to get started. To round out these resources I’ve gathered a list of photo newsletters happening around the web for you to subscribe to. Support the photographers below and get inspired to start your own photo newsletter.

Process by Wesley Verhoeve — Photographer and curator Wesley Verhoeve shares a weekly newsletter about photography and finding your voice inspired by his own experience as a professional photographer. I’d say this is likely the best photo-focused newsletter going today.

Gregory Crewdson Trail Log — Crewdson, known for his elaborate small town American scenes, shares production notes, inspiration, and thoughts on creativity in his “Trail Log.” “The trail is wherever my day leads, wherever my mind wanders, past, present, future, or fiction. So, you’ll get an inside view into shooting pictures here. But you’ll also spend time with me in nature, on travels, with friends, and alone. It’s all one thing.”
Cole Thompson — Cole is a fine art photographer who specializes in black & white work. His newsletter, while intermittent, shares quotes on the creative process, new work, and thoughts on the photographic life.

Shoot. by Ulysses Aoki — “…a bimonthly newsletter sharing experiences, interests and other topics around photography, art and business/freelancing.” from Tokyo based photographer Ulysses Aoki.
Hey how are you — A seasonal photo newsletter from Carina Fushimi, a Japan-based experience designer and writer. “A seasonal photo newsletter that I send out on Sundays, sometimes accompanied by recollections of the past or musings about life in Japan.”
Notes from the Lab by Roman Haindl — A bi-weekly newsletter exploring the creative process, the rituals and the thinking behind being a photographer and filmmaker.
Stillnotes by Alex Eaton (Disclaimer: This is mine) — Notes on a photographic life. Images and essays from my travels, adventures in the mountains, and day to day life.
